Hotel-Alam Puri.
This very private Balinese estate, built amongst lush rice terraces, no more
than 45 minutes from Bali’s International Airport and just under 15 minutes
away from Bali’s famed artist village Ubud combines all of our dreams into one.
An estate that is more of a private home than a 5 star hotel offering villas
that reflect Bali’s finest artistic and cultural experience.
Commencing at the end of 2004,
the resort will boast our newly constructed Tribal Art Museum containing some
of the world’s finest tribal art collection in the Asia Pacific.
Location
A most unique experience awaits you when staying at the Gallery Hotel-Alam
Puri. Designed following traditional Balinese village concepts, the villas
however incorporate every modern amenity found in private retreats and upscale
resorts the world over. Our 11 exquisitely designed and fitted suites housed in
a series of bungalows, offering one or two bedrooms with living and dining
rooms as well as plunge pools and secluded terraces that overlook the river or
the rice fields. Here you can simply relax in your own plunge pool or mingle
with others at out central infinity pool. Take a sauna, have a fabulous spa
treatment to rejuvenate or stroll into the nearby village to experience
Balinese friendliness to visitors.
If you are a lover of art and
all things artistic, the estate offers one of the most comprehensive art
collections of fine Indonesian and Tribal Art in the country. From paintings to
sculpture, some of which are several thousand years old, to carvings, tribal
jewelry and many more art effects, the experience is truly overwhelming.
Accommodations
Each of our villas is named after famous Indonesian artists and is designed
with a view towards maintaining tradition in Balinese architecture, whilst
incorporating modern amenities in a traditional setting. Covered with original
paintings and sculptures, your stay in our villas is an experience not to be
missed.
Villa Ridi, and Villa Wiradana
are two storey two-bedroom bungalows that can be used as family suites or
alternatively can be occupied by several couples traveling together.
All of our Villas offer among
others, private terraces, plunge pool, king and twin sized beds, fully stocked
mini bars and IDD telephone.
Dining & Entertainment
Enjoy tantalizing food and drinks at our specialty restaurant serving the
finest in both traditional Spice Island as well as fine Continental cuisine,
painstakingly blended with local spices. Select wines from our extensive wine
list or simply enjoy a glass of champagne while watching the magnificent

Travel Information
Climate
The island of Bali has essentially a single season with year round temperatures
averaging 32C. During the rainy season (xx to xx) temperatures tend to be 2 to
3 degrees lower and average approximately 28 C to 29C.
Health
No vaccinations are usually required when visiting Indonesia. If you are
however planning to visit rural areas upcountry, you should consult your
physician about immunization requirements (Malaria and Hepatitis are
recommended) you should only drink bottled water and exercise caution when
eating from small local restaurants or simple food stalls. The Hotel has a
doctor on call 24 hours a day for the convenience of all guests.
Foreign Currency
The local currency of the Indonesia is the Rupiah, pronounced in the same way.
Foreign visitors are strongly recommended to bring sufficient funds in
International currencies such as the Euro, UK Pound, Swiss franc, Yen or US
Dollar in either cash or travelers checks.
