Location
Located at 36 Soi 4, Loikroh Road Chang Klan Muang in the central part of the
city, the hotel is located within a two minute walk of the bustling night
market and bazaar.
It is probably the largest center for the selling of all sorts of crafts in
Northern Thailand. A good place to shop if you are pressed for time the
selection is astounding! It originated as a three story building, and later
expanded to be the busy mosaic of department stores, shops, and vendors that it
is today. There are both the indoor and outdoor markets.
Many shops and stalls remain
open throughout the day and evening, especially along Chang Klan Road. The
Anusarn section closes at 10pm, so if you want a chance to browse through some
of the best deals, come early.

The adjacent Lempicka bar is modeled after the famed Polish art-deco artist
Tamara Lempicka and displays replicas of her famed art works.

Climate
Northern Thailand has essentially two seasons with summer temperatures ranging
from 28C to 33C. The winter month, October to March can see temperature ranges
form 8C to 20C. During winter month it is recommended to bring a light jacket
or sweater.
Health
No vaccinations are usually required when visiting Thailand. If you are however
planning to visit rural areas upcountry, you should consult your physician
about immunization requirements (Malaria and Hepatitis are recommended) you
should only drink bottled water and exercise caution when eating from small
local restaurants or simple food stalls. The Hotel has a doctor on call 24
hours a day for the convenience of all guests.
Foreign Currency
The local currency of the Thailand is the Thai Baht, pronounced in the same way. Foreign visitors are strongly recommended to bring sufficient funds in International currencies such as the Euro, UK Pound, Swiss franc, Yen or US Dollar in either cash or travelers checks.
